Some quotes for you. The first is one of my favs. The remaining are meant to make you laugh or smile or nod your head in an amen sister type of way.
After a while you learn the subtle~Anonymous
difference between holding a hand and
chaining a soul, And you learn that
love doesnt mean leaning and company
doesnt mean security, And you begin to
learn that kisses arent contracts and
presents arent promises, And you
begin to accept your defeats with your
head up and your eyes open, with the
grace of an adult, not the grief of a
child And you learn to build all your
roads on today because tomorrows ground is too uncertain for plans. After a while
you learn that even sunshine burns
if you get too much.
So plant your garden and decorate your
own soul, instead of waiting for someone
to bring you flowers.
And you learn that you really are strong,
And you really do have worth.
the person you would call a sholder to
cry on is the person that made you cry...
tell me whats worse than that ?
You can tell a man 'I hate you,'
and you'll have the best sex of your life,
but tell him, 'I love you' and you'll
probably never see him again.”
~Sex and the City
The trouble with some women is they
get all excited about nothing -
and then they marry him.
~Cher
A woman has got to love a bad man
once or twice in her life to be
thankful for a good one.
~Mae West
If he really loves you,
it won't take another man for
him to realize that.

God draws a straight line with

ex boyfriends are like herpes,
once u have them u can never get
rid of them and when they break
through it gets messy.
Loving a man is like loving a child,
if you dont correct them when they
upset you....they will never learn
how to treat you with respect.

Time heals and reveals.
Some of us think holding on makes
us stronger, but sometimes it's
letting go that proves our real strength!
Love does not begin and end the way
we seem to think it does.
Love is a battle, love is a war;
love is a growing up.
Love takes off masks that we fear
we cannot live without and know we
cannot live within.

Some of those I have collected.
Dear Modern Man-
Do you know what this modern woman wants for breakfast? Maybe oatmeal, Bacon and eggs if she is craving protein--definatly coffee. But relax I am not going to eat you for breakfast so don't be such a wimp about women at work. It is high time to accept the fact that a woman migh tno just be your coworker. She could be your boss so you are going to have to be prepared to deal-- to be a man about it the true sense if the word. Sure more working women means more competition but instead of being threatened be challenged by it. Lets bring out the best in each other. Win or lose if you are a good sport everybody wins- Until you get your head around this you will be on your road and I will be on mine. I hope at some point we meet in the middle. Cheers,
The Modern woman

The most painful state of being is remembering the future, particularly one you can never have.
